Feline Enteric Pathogen qPCR Panel

11 bacterial, parasitic and viral targets associated with feline enteric infection and diarrhea.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Overview

Qualitative multiplex RT-qPCR detection of 11 feline enteric targets across bacteria, parasites and viruses in three tubes. When paired with appropriate sampling and extraction methods, the panel is suitable for specimens from veterinary sources. The SPRY1 multi-species internal control monitors extraction and PCR inhibition.

Targets

Bacteria

  • Clostridium difficile toxin A/B
  • Clostridium perfringens enterotoxin (CPE)
  • Clostridium perfringens alpha toxin (CPA)
  • Salmonella spp.
  • Campylobacter (jejuni and coli)

Parasites

  • Cryptosporidium spp.
  • Giardia spp.
  • Tritrichomonas foetus / T. blagburni
  • Toxoplasma gondii

Viruses

  • Feline enteric coronavirus
  • Feline parvovirus 2 (FPV)

Internal control

  • SPRY1 multi-species control
