Ordering and pricing
How do I place an order?
Email a purchase order to orders@bandit.bio with SKUs, quantities, ship-to and bill-to addresses, and a delivery contact. We confirm every order in writing. See how to order for full details.
What is the difference between a complete kit and à la carte?
A complete kit pairs the panel with its matched master mix at a bundled price. À la carte lets you buy the panel only or the master mix only, for example when you already have master mix on hand. Both prices are on every product page and in the price list. More in choosing a kit format.
Do you offer volume or multi-lot pricing?
Yes. Request a quote with your expected volume and we respond within 24 hours.
How do I pay?
Payment is due on receipt of invoice, by ACH or wire using the instructions on the invoice, or by check. Prices are in U.S. dollars, excluding tax and freight.
Can you complete our supplier forms?
Yes. Email orders@bandit.bio for a W-9 or to complete your supplier setup.
Shipping and storage
How quickly do orders ship?
Most catalog panels and master mixes are in stock and ship in 1–2 business days of order confirmation in most cases. You receive tracking details when the order ships.
How are orders shipped?
Panels, master mixes and positive controls ship on dry ice to keep them frozen in transit. Store them at −20°C as soon as they arrive.
Do you ship internationally?
Contact orders@bandit.bio for international orders.
How should I store the products?
Store panels, master mixes and positive controls at −20°C as soon as they arrive. See storing and handling Bandit panels.
What is the shelf life?
Stability is up to 24 months from the date of manufacture, depending on lot and components.
What if something arrives damaged or incorrect?
Inspect your order on delivery and report any shortage, damage or mismatch to orders@bandit.bio right away.
Products and compatibility
Which qPCR instruments can I use?
Our panels run on open qPCR instruments that read the panel's dye channels, including Bio-Rad CFX, Roche LightCycler 480 and Applied Biosystems QuantStudio and 7500 series instruments. Each product page lists compatible instruments and dyes. Five-dye panels, such as Respiratory Panel B, need an instrument with five detection channels: Respiratory Panel B runs on the Bio-Rad CFX96 and CFX Opus and is not compatible with the Roche LightCycler 480. See running Bandit panels on your qPCR instrument.
My instrument has no HEX channel. Can I still run the panel?
In most cases, yes. HEX can be read as VIC or JOE, and ROX as Texas Red, where the channels are named differently.
Which master mix should I use?
Use the master mix listed on the product page. Each panel is formulated for that mix, and it is included in the complete kit where one is offered. Alternate master mixes are not supported.
Are controls included?
Yes. Catalog panels include panel-matched positive controls, typically at approximately 10,000 copies/µL. Most panels also include an internal control in the panel mix; each product page states whether its panel does. See internal and positive controls.
What is Ready-2-Test?
A pre-mixed format in which each tube already contains master mix, primers, probes and buffers, so you add extracted sample and run. It is available for selected panels.
Where do I find reaction setup and cycling conditions?
Each product page lists the sample input and, where available, the reaction volume, run time and recommended cycling. The product information sheet or one-page overview on the Resources page has the full protocol.
Documents and support
Can I get safety data sheets and other documents?
Yes. Safety data sheets and documents for products not posted on the site are available on request. Request documents.
Do you help with setup and performance checks?
Yes. Our Field Applications Specialists help with instrument setup, plate templates and performance checks on your own instruments. See checking panel performance in your laboratory, or contact us.
Custom assays
Can you build a panel for our targets?
Yes. We design singleplex and multiplex qPCR and RT-qPCR assays to your targets, dye set and instrument. Most projects are delivered in 3 to 10 weeks. Start with the panel designer or read about custom assays.
Do you offer OEM or private-label supply?
Yes. See OEM and partners.
