NGS library prep

NGS library preparation

RhinoSeq™ builds sequencing-ready Illumina DNA libraries in 20 to 40 minutes from as little as 10 ng of DNA, in a single tube. Pair it with D5/D7 dual indexes to multiplex samples on one run.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

  • 20–40 minfrom DNA to library
  • 10 ngminimum DNA input
  • 1 tubethree steps, one cleanup
  • 8 · 24 · 96reaction formats

How RhinoSeq works

Three steps in one tube

  1. FragmentDNA is fragmented enzymatically, without GC bias.
  2. LigateA single master mix forms a temporary structure with sequence-specific single-stranded overhangs, so adapters ligate quickly and efficiently. The structure is degraded during the protocol and is not sequenced.
  3. Index and size-selectLibraries are ready to sequence or to amplify with D5/D7 dual indexes, followed by a single size selection at >180 bp, >300 bp or dual-size.

Why labs use it

Less time at the bench

  • Fast. Libraries in 20 to 40 minutes, a fraction of the time of conventional multi-step protocols.
  • Fewer transfers. One transfer and cleanup step, compared with three or more in traditional workflows.
  • Low input. Start from as little as 10 ng of DNA from any sample source.
  • Automatable. A single-tube workflow with less hands-on time, in 8, 24 and 96 reaction formats.
  • Made in the USA. Manufactured and supported by Bandit Biosystems.
