Overview
RhinoSeq™ cuts hours off library preparation. DNA is enzymatically fragmented without GC bias in a simple three-step, single-tube procedure, and libraries are ready for sequencing or amplification in 20 to 40 minutes. A proprietary set of enzymatic reactions reduces reaction steps and reagents, producing high-quality libraries regardless of sample source or application.
How it works
- Fragment. DNA is fragmented enzymatically, without GC bias.
- Ligate. A single master mix forms a temporary structure that creates sequence-specific single-stranded overhangs for fast, efficient adapter ligation. The structure is degraded during the protocol and is not sequenced.
- Index and size-select. Libraries are ready to sequence or to amplify with D5/D7 dual indexes, followed by a single size selection.
