When a stock panel doesn't cover what you need, Bandit Biosystems designs singleplex and multiplex qPCR and RT-qPCR assays to your targets, dye set and instrument. Most projects are delivered in 3 to 10 weeks.
How a project runs
- Scope. You send your targets, sample type, instrument and expected throughput. We confirm feasibility, format and timeline in writing.
- Design. Our molecular biologists design primers and probes and assign dyes to fit your instrument's channels.
- Optimize. We optimize the assay with a matched master mix and build positive controls where needed.
- Deliver. You receive a finished kit with documentation, and we support your lab through setup and verification.
What to send us
- Targets: organism, gene or variant names, and sequences or accession numbers for anything unusual.
- Sample type: for example swab, urine, tissue or veterinary specimen, plus your extraction method.
- Instrument: the model and the dye channels available.
- Format: singleplex or multiplex, and any limit on tube count.
- Volume: expected reactions per month, which tells us whether to plan for pilot lots or routine supply.
A faster start
Lay out your targets in the panel designer and send the layout. It gives our team a concrete starting point, and you'll get a reply with feasibility, tube count, dye channels and timeline.
